Pickup dates for the gloves are between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on December 11th and 12th at Shale Creek Brewery 178 W. Jefferson Street, Franklin, IN 46131. Stay and have dinner with your family and 10% of the proceeds for those two nights will go to the Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation. Join us for our annual 5K run/walk and 1-mile fun run benefiting the students, teachers and administrators of Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation on Saturday, October 5 at Kelsay Farms located at 6848 N 250 E, Whiteland.
Kelsay Farms will donate $500 to the PTO and/or school that has the highest percentage of runners participating!
Whiteland, IN- Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation (CPEF) and Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation (CPCSC) have announced that all five of the Clark-Pleasant elementary schools will receive a start-up grant to launch a Vex Robotics Club at each of the five Clark-Pleasant Elementary Schools in the Fall of 2019. The STEM grant from Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation, funded in conjunction with a previous STEM grant from Endress+Hauser and Community donors, will total $20,226 and will assist in expanding STEM programming at each of the Clark-Pleasant elementary schools (Break-O-Day, Clark, Grassy Creek, Pleasant Crossing and Whiteland Elementary), along with STEM education at Sawmill Woods Preschool.
Dr. Patrick Spray, Superintendent of Clark-Pleasant Community Schools states: “I am so pleased that the foundation could continue to support the area of STEM education and allow us to expand opportunities for our students to further develop creativity and become collaborative problem solvers.” We are so thankful to Endress+Hauser and our Community Donors for their wonderful support of the Foundation and Clark-Pleasant Community Schools. “We are pleased that we have the opportunity to team up with the school corporation and provide this STEM Grant,” says, Trisha Smith, Executive Director for Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation. In a joint statement from the CPCSC Elementary Principals, “Receiving the financial support of the Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation and Endress+Hauser will allow our elementary schools to build on our current STEM education through the addition of Robotics Clubs. We value the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in our ever-changing world. The ability to be involved in hands-on STEM activities will also strengthen leadership skills, creativity, communication, and collaboration.
